In other words, there's still an open world of community-supported Drupal for those that value cash over time and other resources. But for those that wouldn't mind a shortcut to Drupal-based productivity, there's Acquia Drupal.

Acquia has been a great service for me. In fact so often I am close to a solution and you guys push me over into having it solved. I cannot say enough good things about your company.

...the best open source projects in the future will all have scaled, competent commercial arms. The benefits of it are too obvious.

The UICC recently decided to move website operations to Drupal. In order to make the transition to a new platform as smooth as possible we purchased JumpStart training from Acquia. One of their consultants visited us onsite for a week and delivered five days of training that covered topics ranging from the needs and concerns of our non-technical staff to the specific technical questions of our in-house developers who will be implementing the Drupal site.
