MIT's Technology Review announced its annual TR35 honorees today - recognizing young innovators under the age of 35 whose inventions and research they find most exciting. Dries was honored along with 34 outstanding leaders in the field of technology - congrats Dries!
Acquia named AlwaysOn Global 250 Winner

We recently received word that Acquia was named a AlwaysOn Global 250 Winner. Initially the AlwaysOn 100, this year marked the expansion of the list to 250 due to the "rapid growth of startup communities around the world." According to AlwaysOn, "this year's AO Global 250 reflects a set of trends that are about to ignite new market opportunities the whole world over."

We announced yesterday that Acquia has been selected as a Red Herring 100 North America winner for 2008. A cool honor - and another data point that speaks to the growing interest in Drupal and to the validation of Acquia's business model to provide commercial support for Drupal.

Vote for Acquia @ Enterprise 2.0 Launch Pad

Acquia is participating in another Launch Pad event, this time for the Enterprise 2.0 conference. For this Launch Pad event, technology companies were asked to submit a one-minute video pitch to be voted on by the Enterprise 2.0 community. There will be multiple rounds, with four companies eventually on stage at the Enterprise 2.0 conference to present and demonstrate in front of a live audience.
