McKinsey’s latest quarterly includes an updated list of top technology trends to watch. The list was first published over two years ago and described eight tech-business trends that were reshaping strategy across industries. Today is a fun day for me: We’re releasing Drupal Commons as a 1.0 release. Woo hoo! Time - once again - for open source to go blow the doors off another proprietary software cathedral.

Acquia issued a press release today contrasting Social Publishing platforms represented by Drupal and the growing number of Social Business Software products. At first glance it would seem that we don’t like those products, but that’s not the case. The products have some nice capabilities and many organizations are using them daily. Read full article »
