Missing Modules?
I may be missing something, but Acquia is reporting the following folders and files are missing, but as far as I can tell they are not part of the Acquia package. I am using the following: acquia-drupal-update-1.0.0-beta1.1877.tar.gz, which I unpacked using WinAce on WinXP.
The "deleted" directories are:
modules/acquia/print/api
modules/acquia/print/css
modules/acquia/print/po
modules/acquia/print/print_mail
modules/acquia/print/print_pdf
profiles/testing
"deleted" files:
modules/acquia/image/contrib/image_im_advanced/image_im_advanced.module
modules/acquia/cck/modules/content_permissions/content_permissions.info
modules/acquia/cck/modules/content_permissions/content_permissions.install
modules/acquia/cck/modules/content_permissions/content_permissions.module
modules/acquia/image/contrib/image_gallery/tests/image_gallery.test
modules/acquia/image/contrib/image_im_advanced/image_im_advanced.info
In place of some of the above files are files with similar but changed names, ie "image_gallery.test0000664"
Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am having the same issue, I had just been ignoring it up until now. I'll let you know if I see anything, otherwise I'll wait for an answer as well.

There seems to be a problem
There seems to be a problem with some applications unwrapping our download. At first the problem was just seen with Unarchiver on the Mac, and the name of a particular file (content_permissions.install0000664 instead of content_permissions.install). However, now we've seen it with different files (re your example above) using both WinRar and WinAce on Windows.
I have opened a ticket about (DE441) this and am waiting for investigation by Acquia Engineering.

FWIW, I just used the Mac OS X 10.5 native uncompress routines. Double clicked on the downloaded file, got a folder, moved it to my Sites Directory, created a MySQL DB, configured Apache and the Settings file and -- Insta-Site!
The most flawless install I've ever had with a LAMP stack package.
So the bug is in the decompressors.

btw, for now you might try
btw, for now you might try using a different un-archiving tool. For example, although Unarchiver on the Mac exhibited the symptom, using native gunzip/tar utilities works fine, as does using the default functionality in the Mac GUI.
Also, you can just manually remove the 0000664 suffix from any filenames that have it.

Should I open a ticket for
Should I open a ticket for this? I've never had problems unzipping any file with WinACE before, and obviously the renaming solution will not work for the missing folders.

Hi.
I've the same problem.
I'm run Windows Xp with Acquia Drupal 1.2.19 (Drupal 6.14 core)Stack Installer for Windows.
When I try to complitely install the "search" module I can't because Apache Solr Organic Groups is disabled...because Og is missing. (I've also Getid3 that is missing).
Maybe is an error of the installer? (because I also don't have a folder where add the module...the common sites\all\modules or sites\all\themes).
