Multi-site search with seperate contents?

Running a multi-site of two sites (both are subscribed to acquia), I'd like to add the acquia-search to the second site.

However, at present the content of both sites is indexed in the same index and is showing results of both sites.

How can I make it so they don't mix?

Hi John,

The index is built based on the keys for the Acquia Subscription. It sounds like both sites may have the same keys entered which will cause this sort of confusion. If you'll check and be sure that each site has it's own, unique, keys this will make sure the content is indexed independently.

Hello,

Indeed both sites are running with the same key - we purchased a bespoke multi-site subscription but I only received one key.

It sounds like we should have received multiple keys?
