About Urban Insight, Inc.

Founded in 1997, Urban Insight is an experienced technology consulting firm. We plan, develop and support websites, content management systems, and web software. We believe in developing a long-term relationship with our clients, and nine of 10 clients who retain Urban Insight continue to work with us for five or more years. We work with our clients to understand each client's social and business goals, and then evaluate and recommend sustainable and cost-effective alternatives. We engage each client step-by-step, through a carefully-designed development process that ensures project success.

We are a hands-on development firm with experience on hundreds of complex projects. Our experience allows us to actively engage in the planning of a project, providing architecture recommendations that make the project more usable, more efficient, and less costly.

We have extensive experience in the urban planning, real estate, nonprofit, higher education, publishing, and library sectors. We also have experience integrating Drupal with external membership systems and databases such as iMIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Democracy in Action and other proprietary systems.
