Good first effort, very

Good first effort, very interesting to hear from David. Now that "Learning Drupal 6 Module Development" is out, I hope you'll interview Matt Butcher, too :)

Thanks guys! I've found

Thanks guys! I've found various podcasts to be a great way to catch the way drupal devs think. It's great to have another one. I'm sure you guys will have a different angle.

In the way of feedback...
The volume was surprisingly low and Mercer's mic was popping like crazy and sounded very muffled making it difficult to listen to.

Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for the feedback Josiah. We're still experimenting with the audio capture stack - I'll keep an eye on the volume for the next one.

I was quite excited when I

I was quite excited when I saw the first post about acquia's podcast. Maybe I was expecting too much, because its acquia. But Iv found this podcast a little bit boring, yet not very informative, compared to lullabots.

Anyways, looking forward to next podcast!

Too bad he is not more

Too bad he is not more involved in the community.

I agree with him about the visual mapping tool, to move items around to different regions. That alone would be very powerful for newbies and would create plenty of buzz for newbies. I have been focusing on Drupal adoption lately and I see the visual thing as a big hit for quickening Drupal adoption.

The kits he was speaking of, that scared me a bit. I am hoping he wasn't referring to forking. Maybe his next book he can write a bit about Installation Profiles. Installtion Profiles is lacking activity lately at groups.drupal.org.

Thanks for the podcast.
