Julia Birkett

Julia Birkett joined Acquia in 2017 to lead the company's strategy for attracting and retaining top talent. She brings more than two decades of HR experience building and scaling companies in the retail, healthcare, and tech sectors. Prior to Acquia, she was the head of talent for EMEA and APJ at Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud), where she led the regional success of the people strategy in acquisition and engagement.
 
Julia is a qualified executive coach via the ICF and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She resides in the UK, close to Acquia's Reading office, with her husband and two sons.
