Robert Martin

Robert “Bob” Martin is the ETSS Digital Services Manager for the State of Rhode Island. As a civil servant with over 20 years of experience in digital government, his primary mission is to design, develop, and deliver innovative, citizen-centered digital resources to improve public services. Over the course of the pandemic, Bob and his team delivered the award-winning State of Rhode Island Enterprise Content Management (eCMS) platform on-time, on-quality, and on budget. Integrating over 80 agency-affiliated websites, the eCMS provides government information and digital services that is citizen-centric, accessible to all regardless of technology or ability, offers rapid download times to foster digital equity, and dramatically changes how residents interact with their state government. As a life-long Rhode Islander, he is proud and honored to serve his home state and committed to providing professional, courteous, and collaborative support to state agencies and citizens.
