Our annual Acquia Engage conference is going online on October 20 and 21 to bring you all the insights, entertainment and information you want in the comfort of your own home.

Virtual events have taken on a new life as people and businesses have embraced rapid digital acceleration. We believe that Acquia Engage represents a unique opportunity to turn virtual moments into memorable connections. Attendees will explore a  jam-packed day and a half of workshops, keynotes, breakouts and Q&As with industry experts. Plus, you’ll get opportunities to network and share tips with fellow leaders in digital experience from all over the world. (And if that isn’t exciting enough, it’s free!)

We’ve streamlined our program to offer more insights and ideas, so you can maximize your time and customize the experience to your interests. Engage will feature three concurrent session tracks with 22 different Marketing and Drupal Cloud sessions that span all sides of digital experience:

Drupal Cloud: This track was built with developers, IT leaders and technical architects in mind. Each presentation will offer a deep dive into how to rapidly build, publish and optimize digital experiences across your websites and countless other digital channels.

Marketing Cloud: This track is designed to show marketers how they can craft exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights.   

Open DXP: Our Open DXP track represents the joint needs of today’s marketing and IT leaders to create the world’s best digital experiences and connect with their customers. Here we’ll be diving into all the value of our open, holistic digital experience platform. You’ll discover why an open DXP is critical for brands who need to embrace digital innovation. 

Each day of Engage will also feature customer-led panels, presentations and fireside chats that explore today’s biggest digital developments across all industries from B2B technology to finance to retail and much more!

An Experience for the Entire Global Digital Community

Open digital experiences represent a world without borders, where people are free to connect and share ideas on a global scale. Acquia Engage 2020 is an opportunity to share stories from the global community without the limitations of travel costs or time zones. We’re excited to welcome attendees from six different continents and offer exclusive seminars that help us reach an international audience. 

Acquia Engage will feature regional breakout sessions where Acquians and our customers will present in multiple languages. Here’s a preview of what these regional breakouts will offer: 

French: 

Get expert insights on the benefits of a customer data platform (CDP) from Cedric Demeulenaere, Acquia’s Vice President in Southern and Western Europe, and our French Acquia CDP team. Plus, join us afterward for a fireside chat hosted by a leading European brand.

German:

Our German language session hosted by Andreas Frank, Acquia’s Area Vice President of Sales in Central Europe, will feature a panel of German-speaking customers throughout a range of industries and an open Q&A.

Plus, all of these sessions (and every other Engage presentation) will be recorded and exclusively available for you to access even after the event wraps.

Giving Back and Making an Impact Through Tech

While Acquia is excited about the creative, new opportunities to connect at Engage, we recognize the shift to all-virtual conferences, remote working and online interaction represents a small piece of the much larger challenge that we’ve all had to face this year. 

This year, Engage is celebrating those who are using their platform to make a positive difference. Acquia is honored to welcome our keynote speaker: Kimberly Bryant, the Founder and Executive Director of Black Girls Code, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing girls of color to the field of technology and computer science. Kimberly will share how her organization works to open doors for underrepresented voices in the technology community and advocate for a better future for the tech industry.

Engage will also feature our first ever Tech For Good panel where leaders from organizations such as the American Federation of the Blind, the Epilepsy Foundation and others will share how they are harnessing the power of technology to improve the lives of people around the world.
