Advances in AI, Conversational Tech Will Take Center Stage at Acquia Engage
Annual Gathering to Spotlight Digital Innovation in the Field
BOSTON -- October 18, 2018 -- Acquia today announced the full slate of speakers and sessions for this year’s Acquia Engage, the company’s annual conference that showcases the creative, groundbreaking work of Acquia customers. Acquia Engage opens Wednesday, November 7, in Austin, Texas, and brings together the leaders in digital transformation for three days of learning about their collective innovative work.
This year’s mainstage activities are highlighted by the Innovation Showcase, during which digital leaders from media and entertainment, food and beverage, financial, and high technology industries will showcase how they’re transforming the customer experience with the Acquia Experience Platform. VML’s Jeff Geheb and Leah Sand will share insight into the opportunities around conversational AI in “The Future is Conversational,” while Felicity Carson, CMO for IBM Watson Customer Engagement, will explore how AI can sharpen business and customer insights to create personalized customer experiences that make an impact in “Using Artificial Intelligence for Competitive Advantage.”
This year’s theme of “Optimize the Journey” is supported by three agenda tracks as well as several ‘Focus On” sessions highlighting key capabilities and advantages for users of the Acquia Experience Platform
- The Build track offers opportunities to discover tried and true ways to bring a vision to life. Siteimprove and Palantir will share its site optimization strategies for North Dakota State University. Attendees can learn how Pega gained stakeholder alignment for its community site, and the American Medical Association will talk about its continuous innovation practices.
- Achieving digital transformation at scale is the underlying message for the Manage track. Hear how Nestlé Purina North America sought to adopt a start-up mentality with an agile approach to digital, learn how to develop a data-driven experience strategy from Hero Digital, and how Memorial Sloan Kettering employed personalization to better connect with its donors.
- The Optimize track is focused on helping marketers learn how to tap into the power of automation and adaptation to make smarter decisions in real time. Hear Mirum’s take on a Practical Guide to Optimizing the Customer Journey, learn about Panasonic’s transformational journey to improve the customer experience, and AMD’s initiatives around personalization at scale.
“This year’s Acquia Engage promises to be our best event yet, with more sessions led by our partners and customers, all of whom are sharing insight into their tremendous innovation around digital experience delivery. Together they’re reshaping the customer experience, and the marketing and digital leaders in attendance promise to leave inspired and armed with actionable insight for the year ahead,” said Lynne Capozzi, Acquia CMO.
This year’s Acquia Engage will also feature the inaugural, invitation-only CMO Summit on November 8. CMOs from across the country will have the opportunity to participate in engaging conversations with peers and hear from sales and marketing author and blogger Matt Heinz, author of “The CMO Manifesto” John Ellett, and Forrester digital business strategy analyst Brendan Witcher.
