Alec Fumurescu

Alec Fumurescu is a data analyst at Sun & Ski Sport, an outdoor retail company. His responsibilities cover every step of the data pipeline, including collecting data through custom-built API's, indexing and selecting the data from data warehouses using SQL, and generating clear and informative reports that lead to actionable insights.

He graduated college in 2021 with degrees in both Statistical Modeling and Psychology. While in school, Alec worked as a research assistant for a neuroscience laboratory, at which time he got extensive hands-on experience with coding (Python, SQL, CSS), statistical modeling (R), and machine learning (R, SciPy, Pandas).
