This week, Acquia was named as one of Built In Boston’s Best Places to Work in 2020! The Best Places to Work list recognizes companies who embody what it means to be a purpose-driven employer of choice in today’s vibrant tech workforce. The Best Places to Work List rates companies algorithmically based on compensation data and employer benefits.
Acquia is included among a group of organizations that have gone above and beyond to engage and support their people. At Acquia, we believe in inspiring our employees to make an impact and find real value and enjoyment in what they do every day. From dedicated training programs, mentorship initiatives and a strong belief in internal mobility, every day at Acquia offers the opportunity to take on a new challenge. Our regional wellness programs make sure all employees feel their best at work and include everything from fitness benefits to on-site chair massages and yoga. We extend this wellness to the greater community, and throughout the year we promote many ways for Acquians to give back, including regular partnerships with organizations like Girls Who Code and Wonderfund of Massachusetts.
We’re honored to be included among an amazing group of organizations, and we continue to strengthen and give back to Acquia and our community every day.
#Teamwork and Growth
Our progress can be seen both in our culture and development opportunities as well as our quickly growing talent force. Less than one month into 2020 and we’ve already welcomed over 10 new Acquians to our team, including three co-ops as part of our partnership with Boston’s Northeastern University. Our latest class of Acquians was a diverse group, joining the talent, marketing, sales, customer success and engineering departments. We’re excited to see all of the fresh ideas and creativity they’ll bring.
We’re equally proud of our team members who have grown and developed their careers with Acquia and continue to achieve big things with us. January saw five Acquia employees celebrate their seven-year anniversary and many others reach new one-year, three-year and five-year milestones.
And as we entered headfirst into a brand new decade, we also took the time to come together and enjoy each other’s company with lots of seasonal celebrations and activities. Acquians in India held a holiday get together and gift exchange featuring an adorable Santa cake.
Recently, Acquians in the Asia Pacific offices bonded out on the beautiful waters. Acquians from around the globe met up in Auckland, New Zealand and held an all-day learning and enablement session to share innovative ideas and had a blast on a boat trip outing.
I could not be more proud of the continued passion everyone at Acquia brings to their work each day. We’re thrilled to represent one of Built In’s Best Places to Work in Boston and hope to keep making Acquia a top place to work for all.
